Osbourne House Residential Children’s Home

We are a children’s home that can look after up to 4 children at a time. We have an open age range that would normally be from age 4 years up to 17 years of age; inclusive of that year. Each child would be accepted based upon their needs and our ability to meet those needs, taking into account the needs of other children being cared for by us at any one time.

The home is registered for children with Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties, who have complex needs or have traumatic back grounds such as:-

  • Domestic Violence
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Disrupted Care Experiences
  • Sexual/Physical abuse
  • At risk of Child Sexual Exploitation
  • Neglect
  • At risk of Criminal Exploitation

and may present:-

  • Difficult
  • Challenging
  • Offending

behaviours as a result of their backgrounds.

Our home is a warm nurturing environment that is in a safe environment and doesn’t stand out from the residential area around it. Children are looked after by caring, well trained staff who will treat each child as an important individual. More details of staff qualifications and care issues can be found on the links below.
